Creating Network Type Segments

1. In any Exploration, look for the Segments section in the Variables panel.
2. Click the + to create a new segment.
3. Select User segment.
4. Add a condition:
   • Choose IpMeta Network Type
   • Set to exactly matches
   • Enter the type: business, isp, educational, or spider
5. Name your segment (e.g., "Business Visitors").
6. Click Save and apply.

Network Types Available

Type	Description
business	Companies and organizations
isp	Internet Service Providers (residential traffic)
educational	Schools, universities, colleges
spider	Bots, crawlers, and automated traffic

Using IpMeta in Looker Studio

1. Go to Looker Studio.
2. Create a new report or open an existing one.
3. Add a data source: Google Analytics → select your GA4 property.
4. In your charts, you can now use the IpMeta dimensions:
   • IpMeta Service Provider
   • IpMeta Network Domain
   • IpMeta Network Type
5. Create tables, bar charts, or pie charts to visualize your network data.
6. Add filters to let viewers filter by network type.
